Shannen Guntoro (Basealeios) is a multimedia artist who works in 2D character design and illustrations, as well as concept backgrounds. She also creates 3D models of environments, characters, and other assets. Using her artistic proficiency, combined with her knowledge in programming with C# as well as her experience with the Unity workflow, she is primarily interested in working with interactive media and positions involving the visual arts.
In 2022, Shannen Guntoro graduated from OCAD University with a BDes in Digital Futures. While most of her courses primarily focused on digital interaction and game design, she has also used her time at OCAD to further expand her artistic talents, taking a number of courses in Concept Art, Shaders, and Wearable Electronics. During that time, she has displayed her work in the Digital Futures Open Show in 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, she has also gained valuable experience working in large scale and small scale projects such as IMFTO, Bored Pixels Jam 2019, and Textiles Game Controller Jam. In her spare time, Shannen is an avid fan of tabletop role-playing games, designing worlds, systems, and characters to explore collaborative storytelling in fictional settings. Currently, she is in the early development stages of creating her own video game, using her skills in art and code to create mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics. |
